3. Bike loop #47 - Amboise-Chenonceaux
The Royal Route lives up to its name. It’s no surprise that it has been a favorite route for visitors for many years. Just imagine: you start by riding along the Loire River to the edge of the forest. Then you enjoy 8 km of smooth bike path under a canopy of greenery. Pass through two villages and you’ll reach the banks of the Cher River. Soon, the majestic Château de Chenonceau rises up before you. The return route winds its way through hamlets and forest until you arrive back in Amboise.
