Description

When Pierre Favard, Mayor of Pontlevoy, along with Jean-Louis Sajot, then a teacher in the abbey, created the festival in 1985, no one could have believed it would still be going on now. Facing rising success, it became clear that responsibility should be given to an association. Which was done on April 30th, 2021, upon the initiative of Jacques Vallée, deputy-mayor and first president. In the remarkable setting of the Pontlevoy abbey, groups and artists perform in front of a faithful audience every summer. Nearly 250 artists and groups have given over 300 concerts in 36 years. In 2022, we offer you the greatest pieces of music.
