As the Tourist Office has an answer for (almost) everything, here are a few tips and answers to questions you haven’t yet asked us …

There is no bureau de change in Amboise; the closest is located in Tours, on 60 Rue Bernard Palissy. However, euros can be withdrawn with an international card from all Val d’Amboise ATMs.

The Amboise post office is the best place to purchase stamps to send your postcards home. There, you’ll also find a selection of packages to deliver larger or fragile souvenirs to your home.

Most newsagents sell SIM cards allowing our international visitors to use the French mobile network with their own mobile phone at low costs.

The Amboise Municipal Police Station, located on Rue de la Concorde, collects objects lost by our visitors. In case of doubt, don’t hesitate to visit them or phone +33 (0)2 47 23 47 51.
