Théâtre : "L'amour est déclaré"

Come and see the performance of the play “L’amour est déclaré”, presented by the Des Ils et Des Elles theatre company at the Théâtre Beaumarchais in Amboise on Friday 15t January 2027 starting at 8.30 pm.

“Simon is 52 years old and has just lost his father. Simon is now an orphan, with no official partner, no children, and therefore… no family. Alone in the world and in the midst of an existential crisis.”

Specialised in theatrical autofiction, Stéphane Hervé benefited from a writing residency in Amboise in 2025, which enabled him to finalise this one-man show that is both funny and moving. In it, he explores with tenderness and irreverence the themes of lineage, fatherhood and self-construction.
