Come and see the show “Gaslight” at the Théâtre Beaumarchais in Amboise on Friday 12 March from 8.30 pm.

Gaslight is a solo piece conceived and performed by Hélène Rocheteau. This project is inspired by Hélène Frappat’s book "Le gaslighting – ou l’art de faire taire les femmes". On stage, the manipulation of glass objects, lighting effects, make-up and costume elements come together to form a series of shifting scenes, blending performance art with visual theatre. Through these transformations, the show explores the disappearance, erasure and reappropriation of women’s voices… and their eventual evaporation.

Suitable for ages 12 and over; the performance is followed by a discussion with the artist.

This performance is presented as part of the Bruissements d’Elles festival.
