We set off to discover 2CV Tour’s for you, a company offering 2CV rallies in Touraine. It has now been six years since Pierre-Yves launched his company, aiming to allow others to discover the rural and sometimes unexpected riches of his local heritage, on board a mode of transport iconic to a whole generation. This getaway centres around a logbook resembling a treasure hunt. It includes riddles and word games, among others, inviting us to get our brains working in a fun way. For those looking for a simple 2CV experience, don’t worry, 2CV Tour’s also offers a roadmap-style logbook.

Incredible thrills on our 2CV!
Here we are on board the most popular French convertible! A real return to our childhood for some of us, and a total discovery for others! After a brief introduction to the mechanics, we set off criss-crossing the Touraine countryside, discovering the valleys of the Loire and Cher thanks to a treasure hunt. This unique, memorable and resolutely interactive experience allowed us to admire some incredible, bucolic landscapes we never would have expected to see! We found ourselves face to face with some exceptional thrills, immersed in the iconic vehicle of a whole generation. The purr of the motor, the air blowing in, the vibration of the seats and, suddenly, the car leaning into the bends! In short, sensations we’ll never forget.
And how can we describe the smell of the petrol that brings us immediately back to our grandfather’s old garage? A real Proustian moment for us! On board this famous vehicle, it goes without saying that we didn’t go unnoticed. In the villages of the Touraine countryside, locals waved to us, while others admired this legendary vehicle. For us, this 2CV outing in Touraine was a fantastic moment of fun and sharing. Put simply, an unforgettable experience that’s well worth a detour!

A rally with 2CV Tour’s is the guarantee of an original service in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. As proof of his great versatility, Pierre-Yves offers to personalise routes according to your requests, in particular with regard to the logbook. For example, for a special day out, you can add a tasting onto your package or even try out the famous Boule de Fort! We loved the references to the local tongue and touches of humour in our logbook. All year long, Pierre-Yves organises 2CV rallies for company days, hen and stag dos, or simply family gatherings. Our favourite: the picnic baskets of local and regional products.
Committed to an eco-responsible approach, 2CV Tour’s uses synthetic fuel as much as possible for its motor stars, icons of the Citroën brand. The building in which the 2CVs are stored runs off of its own water and electricity.

- 2 starting points: Touraine-Ouest (Rigny-Ussé) or Touraine-Est (Bléré)
- 3 types of package, with a vehicle holding a maximum of 4 people: Half-day (€190), day (€240) or weekend (€400)
- Option to offer this experience as an undated gift card which can be postponed in case of unforeseen circumstances.
