Presentation of the 2026 Tour de l'Avenir
The 2026 edition will set off from Pegasus Bridge—an iconic symbol of the Normandy landings of June 6, 1944—covering seven stages and 926 km en route to the Alps.
Twenty-one teams have registered this year. Alongside the traditional national squads, development teams from professional outfits will now join the peloton—a development that further elevates the event’s sporting caliber.
Sixteen editions of the Tour de France have been won by former Tour de l’Avenir champions. Indeed, the reigning champion, Frenchman Paul Seixas, recently thrilled French fans on the roads of the Tour de France.
