On the menu, don’t miss the beuchelle \u00e0 la tourangelle or the \u2018Roi Rose\u2019 pork belly.<\/strong> But what is beuchelle? Beuchelle is a hot dish made with sweetbreads and veal kidneys.<\/strong> This mixture is accompanied by cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche and mushrooms<\/strong>. The origins of beuchelle are somewhat contradictory, but everyone attributes this delicacy to our region! As for the \u2018Roi Rose\u2019 pork belly, it comes from Touraine pigs<\/strong>. This breed is still carefully reared by a few farmers in the region. Roi Rose is also the main ingredient in authentic Tours rillettes.<\/strong> In other words, it’s hard to find anything more local and representative of the flavours of Touraine.<\/span><\/p>

When we arrived, Chlo\u00e9, the restaurant manager<\/strong>, gave us a warm welcome. She led us to the terrace, where there was still a hint of summer in the air.<\/strong> Before we ordered, Chlo\u00e9 took the time to explain the house specialities<\/strong>. She particularly emphasised the restaurant’s two specialities, mentioned earlier: beuchelle and pork belly.<\/strong> Everyone quickly found something to their liking among the traditional dishes and more modern options<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

We then watched a cocktail demonstration<\/strong> at the bar. With a few quick movements, the ingredients were mixed, shaken in the shaker, and the magic happened: a colourful cocktail was born<\/strong>. With or without alcohol,<\/strong> there is no shortage of drinks on the menu. What’s more, if you want to discover the region’s wines<\/strong>, the establishment offers a wide range of options produced by local winegrowers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The dishes were then served, elegantly presented. They all looked delicious. We savoured every last bite! What makes this place so charming is its welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by the surrounding nature.<\/strong> It feels like being in a timeless bubble.<\/strong> Dining at La Terrasse is like treating yourself to a holiday break, whether you’re eating with family, as a couple or with friends.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Then came the moment for gourmet desserts<\/strong>. Here again, the menu adapts to offer desserts made with seasonal produce<\/strong> that are always delicious. Fruity pastries, delicious ice cream sundaes \u2013 so many delicacies that are hard to resist.
